Cocktail Places To Go On A Saturday Night
Following on from a previous post about the top 5 places for cheap cocktails in Glasgow which featured places such as The Spiritualist, St Jude’s, Hard Rock Cafe etc. This will be a quick post on some places to go on a Saturday night that are slightly more expensive than the ones previously mentioned.
First up is Blythswood Square Hotel: Overlooking the private square garden and townhouses, this is a good place to go for a luxurious Instagram worthy experience. With average cocktail prices ranging from £8-£12 with plenty of Gin choices and the usual classic choices, my personal favourites being the Mai Tai and the French Martini. Definitely somewhere to go for a nice place for quiet Saturday evening drinks.
Next is the Corinthian. An easy to get to location just around the corner from George Square with prices ranging from £7-13 there is plenty of choice on the menu. Live music and a rooftop terrace this is a good all-round location however it is extremely busy from my experience so I would recommend booking a table/booth online as early as possible in order to not be disappointed!
Gin 71 which is now located on three different locations: Renfield Street, Merchant City and within House of Fraser on Buchannan street, is a personal favourite of mine. With over 71 gin drinks to choose from and a wide range of choice, this is a good place to go even if you are not a fan of gin or it is not your first choice of a drink. The decor is beautiful inside with a very unique and relaxing atmosphere. Something that is worth checking out is the Itison deal of the 7-course gin dinner which is £59 instead of £120. This is something that is worth checking out if the deal comes around again!
